About the Book
Let’s go crabbing with Simon on the silver sound waters of Down East. Meet owls and egrets and bright butterflies along the way, until an injured sea gull needs a rescue. After days of recovery in the local Aquarium, “Lucky” is released to join his friends again. He chooses to join Simon on his boat for daily crabbing adventures, sharing gratitude for his new friend’s kindness.
About the Author
Having the fortunate opportunity to spend many years on the coast of North Carolina, Allison roamed the area and waters often with her father, who taught her an admiration and appreciation of all aspects of nature. She thankfully has been able to share the area with her sons and grandchildren. It has become a sanctuary of gratefulness to our Creator.
Allison is a graduate of Duke University with an AB in Elementary Education. She holds an MEd in Special Education from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and she has a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University. As an educator, community volunteer and mother, her constant goal is to stimulate one’s imagination and to be a beacon of God’s Light. Her desire is to impress upon her children and grandchildren the value of His astonishing miracles and Love.
