Okay, back to the diversity of my friend’s personality! Even though, Raven is capable of playing all day long, she can squirrel as quickly as I can! I put a lot of stock in the fact that she has always been about as stable as a dog can be. Having said that, she can go from playful to guard dog in a split second! Without divulging more information than need be, there was an incident close to where, we live. It involved some danger and could have had a very serious outcome. Help was there quickly. No one was injured. But that happening put our small community on edge. I personally kept my doors locked for, a while. As I said, “Raven is a good guard dog.” Her stability and the fact that she isn’t fearful of anything that I know of, make it easy for me to trust her to do her job. I saw the pickup truck coming up the country lane to my house. The vehicle rolled through my gate and was on my drive. Raven ran to the truck and began circling it and barking in a business fashion. The driver opened his door and from all appearances, was seriously thinking about getting out. It surprised me and I guess it surprised Raven, too.
